2022: Year in Review
As a small brand, reflecting on the year past is a great way to not only take stock of our progress, achievements and challenges but also shout out to all the lovely people we met along this journey – customers, wholesale clients and retail partners, collaborators and more. In 2022, we celebrated Clarity Blend’s second birthday since our launch in 2020.
New workshop
In January, we moved to a new workshop in the Space Business Centre in Wokingham. The move allowed us to organise our production processes more efficiently of our ever-growing aromatherapy range. The new space also allowed us to expand our team and we brought onboard two new lovely team members, Harita and Max, who have helped tremendously with product-making and packaging orders. Our workshop is where the magic happens, where we spend a lot of time blending salts, body oils, pulse points, you name it and as you can imagine, it is an aromatic space. We listened to countless podcasts and reggae café playlists, whilst concentrating on filling in jars, bottles, pouches and more.
Events
In 2022, we exhibited at Home & Gift (Harrogate) and Autumn Fair (Birmingham, NEC) trade shows. These prestigious exhibitions are a great way to meet existing and new retail partners and make new connections with stockists all across the UK. (see also below) We also took part in the Ideal Home Show in London Olympia which is a brilliant Christmas show with lots of goodies on offer. In 2023, come and see us at the Top Drawer retail trade show (15-17 January 2023 in London Olympia) and Spring Fair (5-8 February 2023 in NEC Birmingham).
Stockists
From Truro in Cornwall to the Hebrides islands in Scotland, you can find us on beautifully curated shelves in over 100 independent, eco-friendly, sustainable or gift shops across the UK as well as in lovely online retailers. All of our independent stockists are driven by passion – from providing beautiful and eco-friendly gifts to their local communities to educating about the importance of mindfulness and self-care, we have been incredibly lucky to connect with such a lovely bunch of stockists.
Our aromatherapy goodies made their way to fantastic purpose-led subscription boxes, such as the Blurt Foundation, Oh Mumma and Mind, Body & Soil. You can find us also on some of the largest UK retail platforms, such as Notonthehighstreet, Friends of Joules, Wolf & Badger, Etsy, Virgin Experience, Fodabox and more.
Customer feedback
In 2022, our products made their way to thousands of customers across the UK and worldwide. We appreciate every single piece of feedback which helps us improve so that we can deliver quality products that help boost your wellbeing. We love reading how you are using and enjoying your aroma goodies and are deeply touched by every single review. We will be launching a customer survey very soon. Please take part in our annual survey so that we can understand better how we can improve for the year ahead.
New product launches
In 2022, we had some exciting product launches. These included our collection of pillow & room mists in four of our most loved scents. We also launched three themed sets of roller balls: Happiness Boost, Calm Moment and Pep-Up. The sets were a hit especially for Christmas as a giftable option. Being an aromatherapy brand and due to popular demand, we also launched a range of seven single essential oils, including lavender, peppermint, frankincense, pine, grapefruit, sweet orange and lemongrass.
Awards & Press
In 2022, we were thrilled and proud to have received multiple prestigious and industry-leading awards for our unique blends and aromatherapy products. Mind Spa™ Body Oil was the absolute winner with 5 industry awards, whilst our Active Life Body Oil won Gold in Sports Bodycare in the Beauty Bible Awards.
Clarity Blend was featured in a number of national press and some of our favourite magazines, including Planet Mindful, Green Parent, Spirit & Destiny, Om Yoga, Natural Product News, the Homeworker Magazine, Enki Magazine & more.

On a personal note
On a personal note, 2022 was a year filled with ups and downs, highs and lows. We had some personal challenges but Clarity Blend kept us going. On a positive note, Dimitar took up running and Veronika was more consistent with her yoga practice. We welcomed two nieces in our family. We had fantastic trips in nature, explored Devon in the summer.
Thank you 2022 for everything, especially all the lovely, kind and passionate people we connected with through Clarity Blend! Here is to a hopefully great 2023 ahead for everyone!
